With 105 medallions, the rose window of Lausanne Cathedral is unique in many ways, including its geometrical design and the themes depicted.

Sunshine yellow, lemon, mustard, chick … What does this colour make you think of ? Come and discover its different shades ! In this workshop, we will explore yellow through a selection of paintings from the MCBA collection, its chromatic subtleties and how it is made using natural pigments.

In this workshop, we will immerse ourselves in this colour by discovering some paintings from the MCBA collection and their chromatic subtleties. Inspired by these paintings, we will create others in shades of pink.
